HIDDEN BLOOMS II

MAY 4 to May 10, 2026 | Pearl

Created in collaboration with Pearl for Mother’s Day, this iteration introduced a series of handcrafted porcelain floral brooches—smaller, wearable works designed to be carried into daily life.

The pieces are hidden throughout Pearl over the course of a week, with subtle clues guiding visitors toward their discovery. Like the original project, each work was offered as a gift—intended to be found, kept, or passed on.

This iteration deepens the project’s focus on care, labor, and recognition, honoring mothers and caretakers while exploring how acts of generosity and attention can ripple through a community. By shifting scale and format—from vessels placed in nature to wearable objects in an urban setting—Hidden Blooms II extends the project’s core idea: that art can appear unexpectedly, and still carry meaning long after the moment of encounter
